Biography
Toka El Azzazy is a biotechnology graduate from MSA University (Class of 2024), with academic credentials validated by the University of Greenwich. She has developed a strong foundation in molecular biology, genetic engineering, and laboratory diagnostics through both academic training and hands-on experience. Toka has completed specialized training in HPLC, clinical pathology, hematology, and food safety systems such as HACCP and ISO 22000.
She has contributed to several impactful research projects, including genetic engineering for salinity tolerance in soybeans, the use of nanotechnology to improve drought resistance in crops, and enzyme-based approaches to prostate cancer treatment.
Currently, Toka serves as the Vice Manager of the Research and Development Department at the Egyptian Association for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (EAGEBT), where she volunteers to support applied scientific research and community-based innovation in biotechnology. She is also passionate about public health and scientific outreach, having participated in international conferences and awareness programs.
Toka is a fast learner, a dedicated team player, and committed to using science as a tool for societal development and sustainability.
